Horizons

Description

Seismic horizons interpreted during the pre-feasibility study are included in the dataset. Some horizons were interpreted and then re-interpreted in the second phase of the pre-feasibility study (Table 2). See section 4.2.2 and Appendices of the Troll Kystnær report for more details.

Purpose:

Reservoir, seal and overburden characterization to evaluate the containment integrity. Input to the geomodel used for dynamic simulation.

Assumptions:

Horizons and faults were interpreted with the best available information at the time; however, these interpretations are likely to be improved over time. The dataset is intended to illustrate a representative early-appraisal dataset of geological storage prospects.
