Fault sticks

Description
Fault interpretation focuses on the Triassic-Jurassic fault system which cuts through the storage system. The main faults interpreted are the Vette fault and the Øygarden fault complex. The fault system is described in more detail in sections 4.2.3 and 4.4.1 of the Troll Kystnær report.
Purpose:
Containment evaluation and characterization as well as leakage risk assessment both in the storage site and in the overburden. Input to the geomodel used for dynamic simulation.
Assumptions:
Horizons and faults were interpreted with the best available information at the time; however, these interpretations are likely to be improved over time. The dataset is intended to illustrate a representative early-appraisal dataset of geological storage prospects.
