Seismic 3D surveys

Description

There are two 3D seismic surveys, TNE01 and GN1101. GN1101 was collected by Gassnova during the second phase of the pre-feasibility study. The TNE01 survey was not used for interpretation during the feasibility study as it did not cover the area of interest. A further 3D survey of the site, CGG15005, was acquired by CGG in 2016 but this is not currently available as part of this dataset.

Purpose:

3D seismic surveys are the basis for horizons and faults interpretations for storage prospect (reservoir, seal, and overburden) evaluation and characterization. It was also used, in conjunction with the well data, to create a velocity model to convert horizons from time to depth.

Assumptions:

The TNE01 survey was not used for interpretation during the feasibility study as it did not cover the area of interest. Horizons and faults were interpreted with the best available information at the time; however, these interpretations are likely to be improved over time A further 3D survey over the site, CGG15005, was acquired by CGG in 2016 but this is not currently available as part of this dataset.
